When women represent less than 25% of the workforce in a particular occupation, it is considered a ‘non-traditional role’. Do you know how many women work in your field?

Only 3% of electrical and mechanical apprenticeships in WA are taken up by women. In other states, such as NSW, this number is even less. This is far below the bench mark even for a non-traditional role! At TradeUP we strive to showcase the opportunities for women to take up trades as thriving career options.

Most of the common trades have networks for women working within them. This is a great way to share your experiences and connect with other women working in your field. At TradeUP we support all trades. We aim to share and connect with women across a broad range of fields. We look forward to hearing from you!
